2010 Thursday, March 4th - Sunday, March 7th - Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association's Winter Bluegrass Weekend located at the Plymouth Radisson in Plymouth , MN. TR plays on Sunday at 2:45pm on the auditorium stage. For lodging call the Radisson at 763-559-6600 or the nearby Kelly Inn at 763-553-1600 and ask for the Minnesota Bluegrass package rate. Saturday, March 13th - Hobgoblin Music located at 920 State Hwy 19, Red Wing, MN just off of HWY 61 - 6 miles from downtown Red Wing. Hobgoblin Music is the home for Stoney End instruments which are handcrafted in an old restored agricultural barn. The lower level, where the cows originally lived, has been converted into a woodworking shop. The second level or haymow has been converted into our showroom, offices, and shipping room. The third floor of the barn is a concert and event hall. Call 877-866-3936 for availability of tickets and to reserved seats. Show starts at 7:30 and tickets are $15. Friday, June 11th & Saturday June 12th - 3rd Annual Northwoods Bluegrass Festival held at the Rusk County Fairgrounds on Highway 8 in Ladysmith, WI. TR plays Friday night at 9pm, performs workshops Saturday afternoon and plays two shows on Saturday at 2pm and 8pm. TR plays Friday night at 8pm, performs workshops Saturday afternoon and a show at 9pm Saturday night. More information to come. Saturday, July 24th - Leprechaun Festival Bluegrass Americana Weekend at the Rosemount Amphitheater in Rosemount, MN. The Bluegrass Americana weekend celebration of music, song and dance is brought to you by the Rosemount Area Arts Council, local Rosemount area businesses and Leprechaun Days. This activity funded, in part, by the Minnesota arts and cultural heritage. This event is free to the public. TR plays at 8pm. Saturday, October 9th - Oak Center General Store located at 67011 Highway 63, 10 miles South of Lake City; or 25 miles north of Rochester. This is one of TR's favorite venues to perform in. The Oak Center General Store, built in 1913, was resurrected from the dead in 1976 and dedicated to rebuilding a better world from the earth up. The store carries organic meat, produce, eggs, herbs, coffee and bulk items. In the Spring and Summer bedding plants and perennials are available, as well as a full line of gardening tools and homesteading supplies. Unparalleled musical talent is offered through folk forum, a community outreach program of concerts and forum meetings, October through April. The acoustics in their 90-year-old community hall are top notch, and the atmosphere leads to some great discussions and social time. While you are here, you can enjoy organic popcorn, home-baked cookies, natural sodas, waters, coffee & beer. Tickets are sold at the door and are reasonably priced at $15 regular price to $5 low income. show starts at 8pm.
